Board Information

        The Eastern Dominican Christian Mission is blessed to have a supportive Board of Directors that is interested in helping the missionaries on the field to best fulfill their mission and reach the goals that have been set for the work. Each member is a volunteer and has been involved in the work in the Dominican Republic, many for several years. They are also members of supporting churches which facilitates communication and clarification of the mission work to the supporting churches.
        The Board meets annually and every other year the meeting is planned in the Dominican Republic so that the members can get a first-hand look at the progress being made and the plans being laid.

The current members are:

• Rick and Suzanne York, missionaries with Eastern Dominican Christian Mission
• Ken Rutledge, Treasurer and Mission Forwarding Agent. Ken is also the Manager of Little Galilee Christian Camp in Clinton, IL.
• Joni Colle, Secretary. Joni is a Respiratory Therapist and a member of West Side Christian Church in Springfield, IL.
• Randy Gordon is Evangelism Pastor at Northeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY.
• Neil Webster is an Odor Control Specialist and a member of Northeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY.
• Larry Travis is Vice-President of Cincinnati Christian University and Pastor of Plum Creek Christian Church in Butler, KY.
• Becky Dobbins teaches technology in the public schools in Tarpon Springs, FL and is a member of First Christian Church in Tarpon Springs.
• Jeff Lane is a paramedic and an elder in the Crossroads Christian Church in Danville, IL.
• Bill Nichols, our newest member, is a Chiropractor and member of Russell Christian Church in Russell, KY

The next annual meeting will be held in the Dominican Republic Oct. 5-8.
